It's All in the Perspective....and it's NEVER TOO LATE!

It's all in the perspective:

Dad's journal.....

"Wasted the whole day fishing with my son.....didn't catch a thing.

Son's journal.....

"Spent the day fishing with my dad. It was the best day of my life!"

Remember:

To the world, you may be one person....yet, to one person, you may be the world!

"Fix these words of Mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up" (Deuteronomy 11:18-19).

Parents have an incredible privilege and responsibility to be the first, and perhaps the strongest, image of God in their children's minds and hearts. If you are a parent, take a moment today to thank God for the blessing of raising children. If parenting failures and shortcomings overwhelm you, cast them at the feet of your Heavenly Father. Ask Him to help you build strong roads of communication with your children, no matter their age.
